Here are some of the most common questions we receive. If you don't find your answer here, feel free to contact us!
Booking and Reservations
You can easily book your boat charter online through our website or by calling us directly. Our online booking system allows you to view available dates, boats, and select your desired charter package.
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays, as our schedule can fill up quickly. For special events or larger parties, booking further in advance is advisable to ensure availability.
Yes, we have a minimum rental duration of three hours for all our charters on Sundays through Fridays, and a four-hour minimum on Saturdays and holidays.
Our charter price includes the boat rental, a certified and experienced captain, fuel costs, and all required safety equipment, including life vests for everyone on board. Many of our boats also come equipped with a premium Bluetooth sound system for your enjoyment.
The charter price does not include food, drinks, ice, or gratuity for the captain. You are welcome to bring your own provisions.
Pricing and Payments
Our pricing varies depending on the boat you select, the duration of your charter, and the day of the week. You can find detailed pricing information on our website's booking page.
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be applied to your total charter fee.
We accept all major credit cards for online bookings and deposits. The remaining balance can be paid via credit card or cash on the day of the charter.
While not mandatory, tipping the captain is greatly appreciated for excellent service. A standard gratuity is typically 15-20% of the total charter cost.
What to Bring
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own food, snacks, and beverages on board. For your convenience, some of our boats may include a cooler, but it's a good idea to bring an extra one with ice.
Yes, guests who are 21 years of age or older are permitted to bring and consume alcohol responsibly. For safety reasons, we do not allow glass bottles.
We recommend bringing towels, sunscreen (no oil-based products, please), sunglasses, a hat, and any food or drinks you'd like. Don't forget your camera to capture the memories and a playlist to connect to our sound system!
Activities and Equipment
Yes, swimming is a popular activity! Your captain will take you to safe and desirable swimming spots on the lake.
Some of our charter packages include the use of water toys like floating mats. Please check the details of your specific booking or inquire with us about available add-ons.
Yes, fishing is permitted. However, you will need to bring your own fishing gear and have a valid Texas fishing license.
Safety and Policies
Yes, we provide US Coast Guard-approved life vests for all passengers on board, including various sizes for adults and children. Per Texas law, children under 13 must wear a life vest at all times while the boat is underway.
We do not operate in unsafe weather conditions such as high winds, heavy rain, or lightning. If we have to cancel your charter due to weather, we will work with you to reschedule for a future date. We typically make weather-related decisions on the morning of the charter.
We offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 10 days before your scheduled charter. Cancellations made within a shorter timeframe may result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Please refer to our booking page for the full cancellation policy.
There is no minimum age for passengers. However, you must be at least 21 years old to book a charter and to consume alcoholic beverages.
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, and to maintain the condition of our boats, we have a no-pet policy.
Some of our larger vessels are equipped with a restroom. Please check the amenities listed for each boat on our website or inquire with us directly.
Location and Logistics
Our primary pickup and drop-off location is at a designated marina on Lake Lewisville. Specific details and directions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
We recommend arriving at the marina at least 15-20 minutes before your scheduled charter time. This will allow for a smooth check-in process and ensure your charter starts on time.
